Hi, I’m Justin, a strategic product design lead living in Denver, Colorado.
My path certainly hasn’t been linear, and for that I am grateful.
Following graduation from the Design School at Carnegie Mellon, I spent a decade on the creative and strategy side of marketing, consulting, growth, and product.
In 2017, I pivoted back into design with a breadth of experience I could bring to the practice.
Clients and employers have spanned the spectrum, from seed stage startups to the Fortune 100.
I adore design for its role in bringing simplicity and precision to product development. In my experience it has had an outsized impact on the business success of new and old experiences alike. Connecting with users is baked right into the process, which I often advocate as the “not-so-secret secret sauce” of successful products.
“...[Justin’s] authentic care and empathy for users and customers has been vital in helping us build great products…”

Most recently, I’ve discovered the joy of building and leading teams that deliver high-performance design. Creating a culture that facilitates professional development, visibility, and growth has become table stakes for what I bring as a design leader.
Offline I spend most of my time with my wife and two young boys, which I’ve found provides extraordinary lessons in life and leadership. You can find us playing in the mountains in any season.
I’m also an active investor, including my most recent foray into real estate. This new side-hustle serves my interest in business, entrepreneurship, and the physical expression of design.
